Founded in 2002, GM AUTONOLEGGIO derives from an idea of GAETANO MESSINA, a 30 years experienced businessman in the four-wheeler industry. He had the intuition to start the first rental car service in the Ionian Etnea area.

In 2004, with the opening of the Touristic Port of Riposto, GM AUTONOLEGGIO inaugurates its second venue, becoming til now the only car rental within the Marina.

The new strategic position, between Taormina, the Etna Volcano and Catania’s Fontanarossa Airport, was a real turning point. In few years, from a small private local reality, GM AUTONOLEGGIO expands its fleet, reaching 30 owned cars, from small autos to 9-seater minivans.
